Treat Review :: Orijen's Freeze Dried Treats
(NOT AN AD)
So mommy was on a vacay and she saw these treats on a promotion in a pet store in Bergen, so she got me a few types to try yay! I'll probably forgive her for leaving me for 2.5 weeks. i'll think about it.
Orijen's freeze dried treats come in 8 different varieties.

We got the Angus Beef, Wild Boar, Free-Run Duck and Regional Red.
The beef, boar and duck treats are single ingredient, while the Regional Red consists of boar, lamb and beef.
They are 100% meat, freeze dried in Champion Petfoods kitchens in Canada.
Each pack is a mere 2oz (it is available in 3.5oz packs as well), thus each nugget of treat is a precious tasty gem.
The smell from these gems kick started my drool mode into overdrive, and I was literally hopping for more. It's that good! Still I had to work for it though :(
Mommy loves products from Champion Petfoods, so she was really excited that these were on a promotion as their original pricing is pretty high as far as treats go. And also because we can't find these here where we live.
A pack of 2oz treats usually retails in US for about USD 10.99.
The promotion was 2 packs for SEK 99, which amounts to USD11.45! Almost half price! Yay!
Mollie's review:
Super fragrant and super super yummy! These are my precious little gold nuggetsssss.... my preciousssss......
Mummy used this for training and in the beginning she had problems having me sit still cos of the olfactory blast which made me drool and hop!
Mommy's review:
These nuggets of 100% freeze dried meat were dense and non-crumbly (unlike so many other freeze dried food literally comes apart when you try to pick them up). I love that they are as healthy as they get. They are pure meat without any preservatives or additives. They smell super good and I must admit I was tempted to try one but I have not done so cos each packet held so little treats and I didn't want to take any from her lol.
I could tell she insanely loved them. As soon as I opened the pack and we were hit by the fragrance, she started drooling really badly and couldn't sit still for training sessions (I don't think she was that hungry). Only after she had a couple of them did she cool down enough to listen to me. Each treat holds great value and attention, hence training was a breeze.
The downside is that they can be really expensive, unless they are on promotional offer. I regret not getting more.
(update: A super duper nice friend of ours on Instagram @amy_e_garrett gave us this tip of getting the Orijen's cat treats. Identical ingredients, smaller nuggets so they go further. Thanks Amy! <3 )
